All about Rednour Farms

We are a small family farm nestled in the hills of Eastern Kentucky. My girls and I have been cattle farmers  raising primarily Herford and Angus influenced beef cattle on our 400 acre cattle farm since 2012.  As a family a tremendous amount of love, sweat, patience, and tears are put into raising and caring for our mama cows, calves, bulls, and the rest of our animals day in and day out at all hours of the day and night in all weather conditions.

Now more than ever it is extremely important to know where your food comes from. You need to make sure that it is safe, healthy to eat, tasteful, and........available. Over the last several months I have went to the grocery store only to find that prices on hamburger, steaks, pork, and other items that we use every day were either not available for me to feed my family or were outrageously expensive.   With recent events in mind, and after experiencing difficulty feeding my own family affordable quality beef, I decided to cut out all the various middle men, foreign companies and packers, and start selling our beef directly to the consumer, my neighbors and fellow Kentuckians. All of our beef is USDA inspected, certified and processed by a USDA inspected processor.  We look forward to serving you and are humbled that you will give our family an opportunity to serve you. We do not want to take business away from another family farm who you may be trading with now, but if your only source for beef is the grocery store, we ask that you give us a try to earn your business.
